Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC seeks an Aviation Warfare Systems Engineer to join the Tidewater-area team on-site in Virginia Beach, supporting carrier construction programs with the Navy. You will work with SDMs and the Aviation SEM to guide installation and testing of warfare system hardware and software for on-time delivery and contract conformity.

This role requires a Secret clearance, a relevant engineering degree (or Navy equivalent), and 10+ years’ experience with aviation warfare systems aboard

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or former US Navy aviation LDO/CWO/CPO.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with USN Aviation Warfare Systems aboard carriers or large deck ships.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assess risk for technical decisions.
• Lead the Aviation Installation Coordination Team and coordinate with NAVAIR and shipbuilders.
• Ensure installation and testing of warfare system hardware/software per contract.
• Identify and coordinate government resources to support the test program.
• Support an integrated test program through OWLD.
• Maximize early systems assessment and testing for the C5I T&E program.
