Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an Auxiliary Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support CNSP as part of the RATT. The SME will provide expert guidance and hands-on support for shipboard auxiliary equipment operation and maintenance to improve readiness.

Location is San Diego with extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel; a SECRET clearance is required. Prevailance offers a comprehensive benefits package and supports veterans through recognized programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience with operation and maintenance of auxiliary systems aboard warships or military auxiliaries.
• Direct operational and maintenance experience within the last five years with auxiliary equipment and systems currently employed by the U.S. Navy.
• Diesel engines
• Gasoline internal combustion engines
• Potable water systems
• Compressed air and gas systems
• Air conditioning systems
• Fuel and lubricating oil systems
• Ventilation systems
• Ability and willingness to support extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel for shipboard RATT visits.
• Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
