Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education and Development, Natural Sciences, or a related field and 1 year of experience in an outdoor, nature-based learning environment with young children.
• Master's degree in related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, creates, and implements an emergent daily program for preschool children in outdoor and indoor settings.
• Mentors and facilitates development across physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains in outdoor environments.
• Documents children's health and development, and communicates observations with parents and caregivers.
• Models nature-education practices for undergraduate students and interns.
• Collaborates with therapists, specialists, and psychologists as needed; administers medication per doctor's orders.
• Communicates daily progress to parents; supports travel within the region and occasional out-of-state travel.
