Job summary

NRDC, the Natural Resources Defense Council, seeks graduate interns to support the Nature Innovation Hub. Interns report to the Managing Director and may be based in Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC.

The internship offers a paid stipend, hybrid onsite presence, and opportunities to work on tax and finance policy projects with policy papers and research. Interns will assist on multiple initiatives, including nature tax and finance legislation, and will deliver two-page summaries of

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Research and/or data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects and priorities for NRDC’s Nature Innovation Hub.
• Work with lawyers, scientists, or policy analysts across multiple projects.
• Contribute to policy papers, literature reviews, and two-page summaries for policymakers.
• Assist with program coordination and stakeholder engagement.
