AmeriCorps member with White Pine program will deliver nature-based lessons to diverse ages and collaborate with schools, libraries, and land trusts. The role includes leadership in community engagement, training opportunities, and contributing to a digital resource database.

Participants will engage in all-weather forest school and after-school clubs, with a focus on program improvement and professional development through trainings and conferences.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with no upper age limit.
• Willing to work in multiple settings (schools, senior centers, libraries) and outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse community partners and lead engagement programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nature-based lesson plans for children and seniors.
• Support all-weather forest school and after-school nature clubs.
• Develop and share resources with community partners and mentors.
• Participate in trainings and reflect on personal and program improvement.
