Job summary

A Place to Grow in Durham, NH is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator for a hybrid teaching and administrative role. You will work directly with young children while receiving hands-on mentoring and support from our franchise owner to learn the operational and business side of early childhood education.

Lead mixed-age programs, support daily routines, and partner with Harmony Homes residents to create nature-based learning experiences on our 20+ acre site.

Qualifications

• Background Check & Fingerprinting: Must pass a full state and federal background check & fingerprinting (100% company-paid).
• Health & Safety Training: Complete NH Health & Safety Orientation (6 hours).
• First Aid & CPR: Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification (100% company-paid).
• Health Screening: NH Child Care Personnel Health Form endorsed within last 12 months.
• Education & Age: Minimum 18 years with HS Diploma; college coursework in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Age Teaching & Engagement: lead hands-on, nature-based activities across infants to Pre-K.
• Daily Care & Support: assist with routines, transitions, and milestones.
• Administrative & Leadership Training: gain management experience with owner on daily operations.
• Community & Curriculum Planning: design experiential learning using 20-acre grounds and Harmony Homes partners.
