This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This is a Construction, Engineering, and Infrastructure (CF) Career Field position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. This position has promotion potential to the GS-09 level. Career ladder promotions are not guaranteed. An employee can only be promoted when he/she demonstrates ability to work at a higher level, and when the promotion is in line with the agency's authorized ceiling and staffing policies. Additionally, the decision to promote lies with an authorizing official, who makes that determination based on a number of factors. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. There is no government housing available.
