Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of 12 graduate hours in Environmental Science; Earth Science; Natural Science; Physical Science.
• Minimum of 12 graduate hours in Biology preferred.
• College level teaching experience preferred.
• Must relate well to people and display competency in the discipline.
• Effective communication skills with diverse personalities.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with course outlines using varied instructional methods.
• Teach high school dual enrollment students as needed.
• Develop and maintain current course syllabi/outlines.
• Assist in planning studies and surveys and maintain grade records.
• Promote the program and assist in recruitment and advising.
• Represent the College positively to the community.
