The Measurement Technician position is based at Kinder Morgan’s KinderHawk facility located at 9580 Saint Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71106. This role is Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends. Primary Purpose:

The job level will be commensurate with experience and skill sets.

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, operation, and accuracy of all natural gas and control facilities. Responsibilities include sites primarily in Division 6 Measurement supporting the KinderHawk assets, but may vary and are subject to change.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and removing advanced measurement, control, regulation, and gas quality equipment.
• Detecting measurement errors, correcting volumes as needed, and providing supporting documentation.
• Monitoring gas volumes through the measurement system; ensuring all corrections are applied and proper gas composition is used.
• Interpreting and applying electrical and electronic schematics related to EFM and measurement electronics.
• Assessing all aspects of assigned facilities to ensure accurate measurement and maintaining the company's lost and unaccounted for gas and product within established corporate goals.
• Maintaining the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
• Overseeing construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
• Identifying, reporting, and correcting safety and environmental concerns.
• Performing audits of custody transfer and control data when necessary.
• Completing appropriate documentation and paperwork.
• Ensuring all work complies with company standards, procedures, regulatory, and tariff requirements.
• Demonstrating performance toward operational excellence.
• Working safely and embracing safety programs, including safety observations, job safety analysis, risk assessments, safe driving, and cell phone policies.
