Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY, seeks a Native/Indigenous Admissions Specialist under the Federal Work Study program to promote OCC to prospective Native/Indigenous students and families. The role involves planning campus events, guiding tours, handling inquiries, and supporting admissions materials.

The student must have FAFSA-verified financial need, be matriculated in a program, attend at least half-time (6 credits), and maintain SAP progress.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning campus tours, open houses, Center for Native/Indigenous Students Tours, OCC Haudenosaunee Arts Fest and other recruitment events.
• Serve as a tour guide and along with Native/Indigenous Admissions Coordinator provide campus tours to prospective Native/Indigenous Students and families.
• Assist in responding to prospective student inquiries via email, phone and in person.
• Support data entry filing, and other administrative tasks related to prospective student records.
• Help prepare admission materials such as packets, brochures and mailings.
• Contribute to social media and digital outreach methods.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
