Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a transformational leader to shape the future of its technical project delivery across markets nationwide. This senior role will guide technical professionals, strengthen project delivery and client relationships, and develop leaders while advancing technical excellence on complex infrastructure programs.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree, 10+ years of design engineering consulting experience (water/wastewater preferred) and 4+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field required; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of design engineering consulting experience, preferably within water/wastewater.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, CAD, Architectural and I&C disciplines.
• Oversee successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects and ensure adherence to standards.
• Promote efficient design delivery in line with Kennedy Jenks standards and standard of care.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, environmental, scientific, and technical disciplines.
• Partner with managers to align resources with business needs and drive performance.
• Advance technical excellence through quality, risk programs, and continuous improvement.
• Travel 25–50% nationwide to collaborate with clients and KJ offices.
