Job summary

Falcon Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our growing team. This full-time, nationwide travel position oversees commercial retail, restaurant, and franchise buildouts across the United States.

The Traveling Superintendent manages day-to-day sites, coordinates subcontractors, maintains schedules, and ensures safety and quality while working with the Project Manager to complete each project.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Retail, restaurant, franchise, or other fast-paced commercial buildout experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Advanced knowledge of Procore.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, schedules, sequencing, and jobsite operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage a jobsite and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on all sites.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules and address delays proactively.
• Maintain health and safety plans and conduct safety meetings.
• Coordinate with inspectors and authorities.
• Provide updates to Project Manager on progress.
• Identify field conflicts and resolve constructability issues.
• Keep site organized, professional, and safe.
• Assist with punch list and project closeout.
