Job summary

Falcon Construction seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee nationwide commercial retail, restaurant, and franchise buildouts. This full-time role manages day-to-day site operations, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures safety and quality aligned with project plans.

Travel is a core component; the role requires proactive scheduling, strong communication, and independence to drive projects to close on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Experience with retail, restaurant, or franchise buildouts preferred.
• Must be willing to travel nationwide.
• Advanced knowledge of Procore required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on assigned jobsites.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure work adheres to plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules and address potential delays.
• Maintain health and safety plans and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with inspectors and authorities as required.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Identify field conflicts and improve constructability.
