Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Travel Diesel Technician/Mechanic for our Brooklyn, NY area. The role involves 100% travel across the eastern US, diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas fleet vehicles, with a pay range of $40–$50 per hour and weekly pay.

Benefits start within 30 days and a potential bonus up to $5,000. You'll perform preventive maintenance, ensure safety standards, and document repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel and gas vehicle maintenance experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools for the role.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet the DOT physical if required.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Document repairs and complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
• Travel to service locations as needed; 100% travel involved.
