Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Solar Pile Installation Superintendent to lead field operations on projects across the United States. This role drives safety, production planning, and quality while developing field leaders and coordinating with Project Managers.

Travel to active project sites is 100% with extended schedules as required to meet project demands. A strong background in pile driving, sequencing, and field leadership is essential for successful project

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in utility-scale solar, heavy civil, renewable energy or foundation construction
• Minimum 5 years leading pile installation as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews with safety, quality and productivity

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for utility-scale solar pile installation projects
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and schedules
• Supervise Foremen, operators and crews to ensure safe, productive execution
• Verify pile layout, driving operations, sequencing, tolerances and quality control
• Read and interpret drawings, geotechnical reports, survey data and docs
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, customers and inspectors
• Monitor production, budgets, schedules and equipment utilization
• Develop Foremen and future Superintendents through coaching and leadership
• Maintain project documentation and safety culture
