Job summary

Pearce Services is hiring Inside Plant (ISP) Technicians to join our Energy Services team, supporting data centers and critical infrastructure across the United States. This field role requires up to 100% travel and involves installing telecom and data center equipment, fiber and copper cabling, and DC power infrastructure.

You’ll grow your skills in DC power and critical infrastructure while collaborating with experienced technicians. Strong ISP/fiber background and safety focus are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on ISP or data center installation experience.
• Experience identifying, measuring, labeling, routing, dressing, and terminating cable.
• Familiarity with fiber, copper cabling, racks, cabinets, and cable tray.
• Ability to read and follow installation drawings and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools.
• Data center installation experience preferred.
• DC power or other critical-power experience preferred.
• AT&T Central Office installation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TP76300 installation standards preferred.
• Interest in developing skills in power and critical infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites nationwide as part of a field installation team.
• Install, remove, and maintain telecom and data center equipment.
• Install and route fiber, copper, and power cabling; label, secure, and terminate cables.
• Assist with installation of racks, cabinets, cable trays, and DC power infrastructure.
• Follow project specs, customer requirements, and telecom standards.
• Read installation drawings and technical documentation.
• Use hand and power tools safely; operate company vehicles.
• Maintain clean, safe work, staging, and storage areas.
• Follow safety requirements and procedures; pursue additional skills in DC power.
