Job summary

Pearce Services in the United States is seeking Inside Plant (ISP) Technicians to support data centers and critical infrastructure nationwide. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading telecommunications and data center equipment at customer sites.

You will work with experienced technicians, build skills in DC power and critical-power systems, and travel up to 100% as project needs require. A foundation in ISP, telecom, fiber, or data center installation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on ISP, telecom, fiber, or data center installation experience.
• Experience identifying, measuring, labeling, routing, dressing, and terminating cable.
• Familiar with fiber, copper cabling, racks, cabinets and cable trays.
• Ability to read and follow installation drawings and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.
• DC power or critical-power experience preferred.
• AT&T Central Office installation experience preferred.
• TP76300 installation standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites nationwide as part of a field installation team.
• Install, remove, and maintain telecom and data center equipment.
• Install and route fiber, copper, and power cabling.
• Assist with installation of racks, cabinets, cable tray, and DC power infrastructure.
• Read drawings and technical documentation and follow project specs.
• Safely use hand and power tools and company vehicles.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Develop skills in DC power and critical-power systems on the job.
