Job summary

Pearce Services seeks Inside Plant (ISP) Technicians to join our Energy Services team, supporting data centers and other critical infrastructure nationwide. This hands-on field role offers growth in DC power and related systems.

You will work with experienced technicians, expand your ISP experience, and travel up to 100% based on project needs. Candidates with ISP, telecom, fiber, or data center installation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on experience or technical training in ISP, telecom, fiber, or data center installation.
Experience identifying, measuring, labeling, routing, dressing, and terminating cables.
Familiarity with fiber, copper cabling, equipment racks/cabinets, and cable tray.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions, installation drawings, and schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand and power tools.
Basic computer skills; able to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.
Data center installation experience is preferred; DC power experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites nationwide as part of a field installation team supporting data center and critical infrastructure projects.
Install, remove, and maintain telecommunications and data center equipment.
Install and route fiber, copper, and power cabling, including measuring, labeling, securing, dressing, and terminating cable.
Assist with installation of equipment racks and cabinets, cable tray, fiber systems, and AC/DC power infrastructure.
Perform equipment installation according to project specifications, customer requirements, and applicable telecommunications standards.
Read and follow installation drawings, schematics, job specifications, and technical documentation.
Safely use hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, test equipment, and company vehicles.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work, staging, and storage areas.
Follow all company and customer safety requirements and procedures.
Develop additional skills in DC power and critical-power systems through hands-on field experience.
