Job summary

Yardi is seeking a Field Technician to lead installation and maintenance of IoT devices across the United States. You will survey sites, review quotes, and ensure OSHA compliance while maintaining detailed project documentation.

This role involves extensive travel and coordinating with subcontractors to deliver quality installations. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, HVAC/electrical experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; California license for CA work.
• Minimum 3 years in technical trades and hardware installation.
• Experience with HVAC and electrical systems preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, diagnose and maintain IoT devices on projects.
• Review reports, site plans, device health and work orders.
• Follow schedules set by project leader and client.
• Ensure devices operate properly before site handover.
• Maintain documentation: BID, MWO, PISN, TRS.
• Train peers and coordinate subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain inventory records and comply with policies.
