Job summary

Air National Services in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for nationwide data center projects. You’ll manage startup, commissioning, and service of complex HVAC systems across the U.S., with travel to client sites and regional support when at home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience with systems such as chillers, hydronic systems, VRF, RTUs, packaged equipment or mission-critical cooling systems preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshooting, and optimization – Diagnose and resolve issues on a variety of commercial HVAC systems. Perform preventative maintenance and fine-tune system performance for energy efficiency and reliability.
• Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing service concerns, recommending improvements, and delivering high-quality communication and support.
• Communication & Documentation – Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling and follow-up. Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation in a timely manner.
• Training & Mentorship – Stay up to date through ongoing technical training. Serve as a resource and occasional mentor to junior technicians in the field.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements as outlined by OSHA, the company, and customer sites.
• Emergency Response – Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent service needs.
• Other Duties as Assigned – Contribute to the team and company by stepping in where needed.
