Job summary

DWM is seeking a Field Project Manager (Construction Superintendent) to oversee commercial construction projects nationwide. This hands-on role requires coordinating with clients, design teams, and crews, while estimating costs and monitoring budgets.

You will read blueprints, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality across all trades. Expect frequent travel and a dynamic work environment with room for growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of construction field experience (carpentry preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 80% annually including air travel.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Desire to travel nationwide.
• Willing to work days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on oversight on all phases of a construction project on site until completion.
• Coordinate with trades and subcontractors to meet project goals and profitability.
• Provide direction to team and subcontractors to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of progress, timesheets, and invoices; ensure timely submission.
• Forecast project costs and timelines to ensure bids hit profit margins.
• Read blueprints, purchase orders, change orders, and submittals.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure timelines are met.
• Plan inspections and obtain permits as needed.
• Resolve on-site issues, escalating to the Director of New Operations as needed.
• Maintain communication with Director of New Operations with updates and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Travel nationwide as required (up to 80%).
