Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Medical Sales Manager to lead and grow a nationwide team of Medical Sales Representatives focused on physician engagement and business development within wound care. This role is remote and nationwide, with a base salary and bonus structure.

The candidate will recruit, coach, motivate, and drive performance while building strong relationships with physicians, practices, and healthcare organizations. 5+ years in medical sales and 2+ years leading teams are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical sales experience, preferably calling on physicians' offices and healthcare practices.
• Prior wound care sales experience strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience managing, mentoring, or leading sales teams.
• Strong understanding of wound care, healthcare services, or related medical sales environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Remote Medical Sales Representatives to exceed goals.
• Establish sales strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics for growth.
• Monitor activity, pipeline development, and conversion rates.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field visits, and coaching sessions to improve performance.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives as the team grows.
• Collaborate with physicians and practices to support key account development.
