Job summary

U.S. Engineering seeks a Virtual Construction Director to oversee nationwide detailing operations, guiding project teams and coordinating with executives to align with company objectives.

The role requires strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/Revit), leadership experience in mechanical construction, and a track record of managing budgets and cross-functional collaboration. Occasional travel is required as part of the national scope.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Engineering or Drafting Technology preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in mechanical construction industry.
• Minimum 1 year of construction operations supervisory experience.
• Experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial guidance to Regional Managers of VC.
• Chair VC steering committee.
• Assist executive management with administrative functions for Virtual Construction.
• Coordinate national VC database architecture and manpower pool.
• Set policy for software type and configuration based on industry standards.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to implement operational objectives and budgets.
• Lead development projects for detailing teams across the nation.
• Monitor quality of detailing operations across regions.
• Establish and monitor budget for hardware and software with senior leaders.
