Job summary

CED Systems seeks an experienced In-Building DAS Construction Lead to support nationwide DAS deployments. This role is 100% travel-based and requires a hands-on field leader who can install DAS equipment while coordinating on-site crews.

The ideal candidate has direct experience building DAS systems in live environments and will serve as the primary field point of contact for construction execution, material coordination, and quality control.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on field experience in wireless telecommunications in-building systems installation, testing, and field leadership.
• 2+ years leading in-building DAS construction projects.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with DAS installations and in-building wireless systems.
• Knowledge of fiber optics and coax installation, testing, troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Troubleshooting, RAN and DAS systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power installation.
• Ability to read Construction Drawings, RF Data sheets and ibwave files.
• Experience preparing construction closeout packages.

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee installation of DAS equipment including head-end units, remote antenna units, fiber optic cables, and coaxial distribution systems.
• Assist with site surveys/data collection and produce bid documents on small to medium projects.
• Supervise field construction crews and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety surveys and meetings with onsite vendors and crews.
• Work with clients and vendors to ensure installations comply with RF engineering specs and requirements.
• Assist with material verification, staging, and shortages.
• Coordinate with project teams on equipment readiness and deliveries.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout construction phases.
