Job summary

AiLO Logistics is seeking a National Equipment Manager to lead trailer pools and equipment planning across Brokerage and Asset operations. You will establish centralized tracking, improve visibility, and coordinate repairs and relocations to support national coverage.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in transportation or fleet management, strong Excel skills, and a data-driven approach to optimize utilization and cost. Ownership mindset encouraged, with growth into broader fleet oversight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, fleet operations, equipment management, dispatch, or a related field.
• Experience with trailers, tractors, chassis, or transportation equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage trailer pools across multiple locations and customer programs.
• Maintain visibility of trailer location, availability, and status.
• Coordinate trailer repositioning based on demand.
• Monitor trailer utilization and dwell.
• Identify equipment shortages and excess equipment across markets.
• Coordinate trailer recovery from customers, carriers, terminals, and drop yards.
• Manage company-owned, rented, and leased trailer inventory.
• Track rental agreements, lease expirations, and equipment availability.
• Assist with new customer programs involving drop trailers and power-only operations.
