Qualifications

• 4-year degree is required.
• 14 years of professional experience.
• CPA or Law License/JD required.
• Experience with accounting methods and/or federal tax consulting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth technical research and analysis of accounting method matters.
• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, guidance, and case law to develop sound positions and practical recommendations.
• Monitor new tax legislation, regulations, guidance, and decisions and assess impact on clients and the firm.
• Serve as a national technical resource, collaborating with practice leaders and client teams to provide guidance.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally and externally.
• Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and high ethical standards.
• Develop connections in the tax intelligence community to raise Baker Tilly's profile.
• Draft and review internal/external tax alerts and thought-leadership materials.
• Develop and deliver technical training and webinars to share knowledge across the firm.
• Build relationships across service lines to promote collaboration.
