Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Manager for the National Tax Office in New York. You will conduct research on federal income tax issues, including partnerships and M&A considerations, and draft memos and firm-wide alerts. You will contribute to trainings and support diligence in transactions.

Candidates should have 4+ years of federal tax consulting experience, a J.D., and strong analytical and writing skills, with proficiency in tax databases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience (large firm or IRS preferred).
• J.D. required; LL.M. in Tax preferred.
• Experience working with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; proficient with tax research databases.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze federal income tax issues (partnerships, S/C corporations, M&A).
• Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring.
• Draft emails and memos for clients and internal teams.
• Draft Firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax.
• Assist with Firm-wide trainings in federal income tax.
• Assist with Federal domestic tax due diligence in M&A transactions.
