Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is seeking a Program Security Officer to support U.S. Government and IC initiatives.

You will lead multi-discipline security programs, ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidance, and protect personnel, information, and facilities. The role requires US citizenship, an active TS/SCI with polygraph, and proven experience in security operations, accreditation maintenance, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PSO/CPSO/Security Manager roles
• 2+ years with ICD/NISPOM/government regs
• 2+ years with physical security hardware, IDS, and ACS
• Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide program security guidance across personnel, physical, industrial, and information security.
• Develop and manage government-accredited security requirements and operations.
• Identify security needs and implement solutions to protect program execution.
• Maintain security hardware and systems to meet government and AWS requirements.
• Build internal and external partnerships to raise security awareness.
• Support on-call rotations for alarms, incidents, and outages.
• Manage multiple projects as Program Security Officer.
• Maintain facility accreditations.
• Conduct security interviews and investigations with sound judgment.
• Improve processes with attention to detail.
