Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks an executive-level Mid-Level Data Scientist to support the National Security Branch. You will design and deploy ML models, algorithms, and data workflows across government datasets, translating discoveries into actionable decisions.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders, develop data visualizations, and present insights to executive leadership to inform critical missions. This role requires strong technical delivery and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as a Data Scientist or equivalent data-centric role (e.g., Data Analyst, Data Engineer).
• Six years of experience with multiple programming languages and statistical packages plus AI/ML tools.
• Six years of experience acquiring, extracting, and preparing data for research or analysis.
• Six years of experience conducting exploratory data analysis to interpret complex data trends.
• Six years of experience cleaning, manipulating, and sub-setting large datasets for analytical workflows.
• Six years of experience communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders using visualizations and tables.
• Demonstrated ability to learn rapidly and work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required U.S. Government Security Clearance for NSB programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design ML, statistical, and data analysis tasks across projects.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify workflow improvements.
• Design approaches for handling large law enforcement and intelligence data sets.
• Develop data models, algorithms, and software to optimize data search and retrieval.
• Use Python scripts to collect, wrangle, and process data.
• Test and validate data quality, integrity, and performance of data processes.
• Coordinate with teams to deploy predictive models and monitor outcomes.
• Analyze findings and present data-driven recommendations to executives.
• Develop visualizations and charts to communicate results to non-technical audiences.
