Job summary

EMT Holdings is seeking National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigators to support federal background investigations in the Oakland, CA area. You will conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, and references, and review records to resolve material issues and assess background, reputation, and suitability.

Documentation will be prepared and reported within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; prior experience preferred in investigations.
• Proven ability to conduct interviews and review records to establish background facts.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain favorable suitability determinations and meet travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals.
• Review records to obtain facts and resolve material issues in a case or establish background, reputation, and suitability.
• Document information thoroughly and submit a detailed report within a strict timeline.
