Job summary

10x National Security, LLC is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML capabilities for a critical DoD customer. You will work with mission stakeholders, software developers, and DevSecOps to build secure, scalable AI systems across data ingestion, model training, MLOps, and inference integration.

This role is not a research lab; you will build deployed tools. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of ML experience, proficiency in Python and PyTorch, and a strong background in

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret or higher clearance or ability to obtain
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or related field
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying ML models
• Deep proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, scikit-learn)
• Strong end-to-end MLOps and model deployment in containerized environments
• Security-first software practices (SBOMs, STIGs, zero trust) and cross-functional, agile teamwork

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models and pipelines to support national security missions
• Engineer production-ready AI solutions using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow in edge or cloud environments
• Collaborate with software teams to containerize, optimize, and integrate models into full-stack systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Implement MLOps pipelines for model versioning, reproducibility, and CI/CD
