Job summary

Adelphi seeks a Machine Forward Deployed Learning Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end AI-enabled, full-stack systems in support of national security customers. The role emphasizes LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and agent orchestration, with production-grade deployment in air-gapped and classified environments.

Based in the DC area with a hybrid schedule, you will engage with DoD/IC customers, contribute across the full stack from OS to API, and bring prior defense/INT experience to ensure mission

Qualifications

• Experience in defense or intelligence fields is required.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end ML services in production environments.
• Familiarity with modern agent frameworks and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of agentic, full-stack systems from prototype to production.
• Build and deploy ML services leveraging LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and agent orchestration.
• Work directly with customers to understand problems and ship AI applications under real-world constraints.
• Codify repeatable patterns into reusable tools for faster delivery.
