Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a strategic pricing professional to lead transportation pricing initiatives across North America. In this senior role, you will manage tenders, model pricing for FTL/LTL, and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance to deliver competitive solutions.

You will monitor market trends, develop insights, and mentor pricing analysts while driving continuous improvement through analytics and automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in transportation, logistics, pricing, procurement, or Tender management.
• 4+ years in road transportation pricing, carrier negotiations, or commercial strategy.
• Experience with FTL, LTL, dedicated, expedited, and cross-border transportation solutions.
• Proficiency with pricing analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and pricing requests across North America.
• Develop pricing models for FTL, LTL, dedicated capacity, white glove, expedited, and specialized transportation solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional responses to customer procurement events and bid opportunities.
• Create competitive and profitable pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and operational capabilities.
• Conduct profitability analysis and identify opportunities to improve margins and commercial performance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Solution Design teams to create customized transportation solutions.
• Participate in customer presentations, pricing reviews, and procurement discussions.

What we would like you to bring

We are looking for a commercially minded logistics professional with strong analytical capabilities, experience managing transportation pricing strategies, and a proven ability to develop customer-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.

• 7+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, pricing, procurement, or tender management.
• 4+ years of experience in road transportation pricing, carrier negotiations, or commercial strategy.
• Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, dedicated, expedited, and cross-border transportation solutions.
• Experience developing and responding to large-scale customer RFQs and RFPs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and pricing analytics tools.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Operations, Finance, Carrier Management, and Solution Design teams.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, data center, semiconductor, or technology customers is preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems, pricing tools, and carrier procurement processes is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

The target annual base salary for this position is between $85,000.00 to $91,000.00, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, internal equity, and business considerations.
