Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Senior Director, National Retail to lead JM Smucker’s Retail Business Manager organization and bridge Retail Operations, JM Smucker Sales Leadership, and Acosta leadership to translate strategies into measurable results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading managers or professionals and managing client relationships.
• Strong strategic planning and cross-functional influence abilities.
• Excellent executive communication skills and change leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years in project/people management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to JM Smucker Sales Directors and customer leadership.
• Translate insights into actionable business recommendations and drive reviews.
• Lead and develop the Retail Business Manager team and set performance standards.
• Align retail execution priorities with customer objectives and actions.
• Monitor key retail metrics and conduct root cause analyses for improvement.
• Develop plans to enhance execution, distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Collaborate with retail ops and sales leadership for implementation.
• Utilize data and analytics to influence decisions and outcomes.
