National Product Manager (P&C)

As the National Product Manager, you will play a critical role in making product adjustments to existing products. We’re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented insurance professional with the drive to improve our products. The ideal candidate has the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, but is also capable of taking ownership and delivering independently. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Orion180—including Sales, Claims, and Customer Experience—to ensure products meet company standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with internal teams to identify products needing enhancements.
  • Lead all aspects of desired changes (identifying, planning, and delivery).
  • Research competitor filings to identify future opportunities.
  • Create project timelines and oversee delivery milestones for related initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate cross-departmental communication of form changes and implementation timelines.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and adjust as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in similar work.
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
  • Management Experience: 2+ years of experience managing teams and projects. Proven positive leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage performance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product life cycles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with form automation tools a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively—both written and verbally—across all levels of the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Proven ability to achieve ambitious goals in an innovative and demanding environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to develop strategies informed by research, data, and industry trends.

The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule onsite, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading; being able to lift light objects (<25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
