Job summary

Mothers Against Media Addiction is seeking a National Organizing Director to lead our national grassroots and membership strategy. You will shape organizational direction, expand chapter networks, and drive growth in communities across the country.

Reporting to the senior leadership, you will collaborate with Digital and Policy teams to align organizing with advocacy and rapid-response efforts, while implementing durable systems and measuring impact.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in grassroots organizing or distributed leadership.
• Proven track record growing membership in issue-driven campaigns.
• Experience managing remote teams and building strong distributed culture.
• Experience implementing organizing systems and CRM platforms.
• Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead national organizing and membership growth strategy.
• Identify and prioritize focus states using a disciplined approach.
• Design and scale membership growth pathways that convert national digital attention into sustained grassroots engagement.
• Establish the framework for recurring anchor actions.
• Support organic national growth while concentrating investment and depth in priority states.
• Support member and volunteer acquisition strategy, ensuring paid and organic acquisition efforts convert into durable grassroots engagement.
