*Hiring for a hybrid role in San Antonio, Texas only.*

What you’ll get to do:

  • Help build the mortgage department and mortgage portfolio.
  • Originatemortgage loans on a national scale from leads generated through various channels and establishing/maintaining relationships with Farm Bureau members, leaders, and Agents.
  • Educate borrowers on available mortgage products, interest rates, and terms, and assist them in selecting the best loan option to meet their financial goals.
  • Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process, including gathering required documentation, conducting credit checks, and facilitating the underwriting process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process, addressing borrower inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/partners, including underwriters, processors, and closers, to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing and closing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Farm Bureau members, leaders, real estate agents, financial advisors, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans and, HELOC/Second Mortgages as well as knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficiency in mortgage origination software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3)years of experience in mortgage lending, with a proven track record of loan origination and production.
