Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to support the National Mission Critical team on commercial construction projects. You will learn Ryan processes, track RFIs, assist with shop drawings, and coordinate vendor deliveries while gaining insight into safety, permits, and scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management and 1+ year of experience, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.
• Willingness to travel to execute projects.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating RFIs and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and coordination.
• Learn dimensional control and verify field dimensions against shop drawings.
• Coordinate and track Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures and site safety practices.
• Assist with site logistics, permits, and inspection process.
• Record Punchlist items and monitor completion with Owner and Ryan teams.
• Participate in updating the project schedule.
