Roadrunner Freight seeks a Special Projects Manager to lead high-impact operational initiatives across the LTL network. You will translate priorities into measurable improvements at service centers and field locations, balancing enterprise leadership with hands-on accountability.

Expect to assess performance quickly, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions while traveling to service centers and field offices.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive LTL operations experience.
• Experience leading complex operational projects from assessment through implementation.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead network-wide operational initiatives from assessment to implementation and performance validation.
• Improve service center performance with structured assessments and root-cause analysis.
• Provide operational leadership coverage and maintain service continuity during changes.
• Strengthen labor execution and team performance through staffing alignment and coaching.
• Drive initial DLS performance assignment with comprehensive operational review and action plan.
