Job summary

Kuehne Nagel is seeking a WMS-focused professional to bridge IT and regional operations, supporting client deployments, system configuration, and training. You will drive process improvements and provide post-implementation support in a dynamic logistics environment.

The role requires hands-on WMS experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate operational needs into effective WMS configurations for multiple clients and warehouses.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or administering a WMS within a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with WMOS, SwiftLOG, or CIELFW/FD strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting at least two core warehouse processes, such as order management, inventory management, receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.

• Coordinate WMS implementations, including initial warehouse/depot and client setup and system configuration.
• Manage work orders and tickets for new client requirements, functionality, incidents, and support issues.
• Conduct and support unit, UAT, regression, and new functionality testing to ensure system readiness and alignment with requirements.
• Provide training and development for Local Super Users (LSUs) and key operational users, enabling effective downstream training.
• Identify, recommend, and implement system and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and performance.
• Deliver post-implementation hypercare and second-level support, while maintaining operational process and training documentation.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 3 years of experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or administering a Warehouse Management System (WMS) within a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS), SwiftLOG, and/or CIELFW/FD strongly preferred.
• 2 years of functional WMS experience, including working knowledge of WMS data models, data elements, tables, system configuration, and transactional data flow across warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting at least two core warehouse processes, such as order management, inventory management, receiving, picking, packing, or shipping, with the ability to translate customer and operational requirements into WMS configurations or process improvements.
• Hands‑on experience with system implementations, enhancements, or upgrades, including unit testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, issue/ticket management, go‑live support, and post‑implementation hypercare. Experience training Local Super Users (LSUs) and operational users is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills, with demonstrated experience communicating technical concepts to operational users, delivering system/process training or presentations
