National Leasing Specialist I

Location: On-Site – 5 Days/Week
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The National Leasing Specialist I is an entry-level, customer-facing role within a high-volume contact center environment. This position plays a key role in guiding prospective residents through the leasing journey by handling inbound inquiries, scheduling tours, conducting virtual tours, and providing exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels.

This is a fully on-site role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building connections with customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, reliable, and motivated to grow within the property management or customer experience field.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from prospective residents and convert inquiries into scheduled in-person or virtual tours
• Deliver outstanding customer service while providing accurate and engaging information
• Conduct virtual tours with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm
• Respond to inquiries via phone, chat, text, and CRM platforms
• Maintain accurate and detailed guest records within Yardi CRM
• Ensure all prospect interactions are documented clearly for seamless handoff to onsite teams
• Follow up with prospects and properties to confirm availability, specials, and next steps
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and scheduling
• Participate in team meetings, coaching, and training sessions
• Demonstrate strong time management and attention to detail in a high-volume environment
• Maintain professionalism while handling sensitive or time-sensitive situations
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and customer service standards

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required
• Call center or leasing experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable handling high call volume (50–60 calls/day)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple systems simultaneously
• Experience with CRM systems (Yardi preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer workstation
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when needed
• Reliable attendance and professional appearance required

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually (based on experience)
