Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a National Director, Workplace Giving & Engagement to drive a national strategy for workplace giving and matching gifts. You will build partnerships with Fortune 500s, develop programs across channels, and lead a team to maximize revenue growth.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communications, and comfort with travel up to 30% as you align across departments to grow sustainable funding for T1D initiatives.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing campaigns and directly raising 7+ figures annually through workplace giving and fundraising.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking and partner communications.
• High degree of technological proficiency with Office, donor databases (Salesforce), collaboration tools, and matching gift platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a national strategy to grow workplace giving and matching gift revenue.
• Serve as subject matter expert on workplace giving trends, tools, and platforms.
• Establish vendor relationships and oversee platform strategy.
• Set annual revenue goals, forecasts, and performance tracking.
• Lead external matching gift communications to increase donor participation and match conversion.
• Build a pipeline of corporate partners and engage employers with strong engagement potential.
• Collaborate with Global Development teams to embed matching gift strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance to field staff and develop training resources.
