Airgas, Inc. is hiring a National Instrument & Electrical Technician for Dayton, OH to support our national team, with a focus in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

The role involves operating and maintaining instrumentation and electrical equipment in an industrial setting and traveling up to 50%. You will troubleshoot, calibrate and repair instrumentation systems, process analyzers and gas chromatographs, while upholding safety and quality standards and supporting a broad range of air separation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Experience with Field Communicator devices, such as a Hart Communicator.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control equipment used in air separation processes and maintain plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate instrumentation systems per manufacturers' instructions and local procedures.
• Install, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic instrumentation.
• Perform preventative inspections on equipment and systems and maintain calibration standards.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, compressors, pumps and motors; ensure safety.
