Job summary

Airgas is hiring an Instrument Maintenance Technician in Mebane, NC, with travel to Durham, NC. You will support instrumentation, electrical, and control systems, performing calibration, installation, and maintenance activities to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in instrumentation/electrical maintenance in an industrial setting; travel about 50% is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation systems per manufacturers' instructions and SOPs.
  • Install, adjust, and ensure proper operation of manual, pneumatic, electric, and electronic instrumentation.
  • Support electrical systems, calibrations, quality control equipment, and process analyzers.
  • Perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems and support maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, and turbines.
