Job summary

Speed Bay Warehouse Solutions in Dallas seeks a Construction Manager to execute capital programs across its shallow bay industrial portfolio. You will manage deferred maintenance, CAPEX projects, and tenant improvements, coordinating with management to align with occupancy goals.

Role requires 4–5+ years in industrial construction, strong organization, and knowledge of codes; travel nationally as portfolio grows. In-office, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required.
• 4–5+ years of commercial or industrial construction management experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage complex schedules, documentation, and deadlines.
• Proactive, forward-thinking approach to project follow-up and problem resolution.
• Experience overseeing multi-site projects, budgets, and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding, contracting, and installation of capital improvement projects (exterior painting, signage, landscaping, roof, HVAC, TI).
• Oversee day-to-day construction progress ensuring schedule, quality, and compliance.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules with milestones and follow-ups.
• Coordinate contractor selection, contracts, and multi-project management.
• Report progress to SVP, Construction and leadership; ensure alignment with goals.
• Support TI work and acquisition due diligence to assess construction needs.
