Job summary

Amazon in the United States (Arlington, VA) is seeking an Audit Manager to own and evolve the audit program across 300+ fulfillment sites, designing the strategic roadmap, scaling third-party partnerships, and turning audit data into action-driven improvements in food safety compliance.

You will partner with Operations, Food Safety, and senior leadership to raise the bar, manage vendors end-to-end, define success metrics, and present strategic narratives to executives while driving scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Food Code requirements across local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the strategic vision for the Audit Program across North America, including long-term roadmap development, resource allocation strategies, and program evolution to support network growth.
• Develop and drive adoption of innovative solutions to scale the audit program across 300+ sites, including establishment of new frameworks for third-party partnerships and risk-based audit methodologies.
• Manage third-party vendors end-to-end: track KPIs, maintain contracts, and execute continuous improvement initiatives across the vendor portfolio.
• Define and oversee program success metrics, creating executive-level reporting structures that demonstrate business impact and compliance adherence to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships across the Food Safety Programs Team and key internal partners to drive program improvements, ensuring alignment with broader food safety goals and compliance requirements.
