Job summary

Association of Community College Trustees seeks a Vice President of Search Services to lead the national executive search practice, directing presidential and CEO searches and overseeing client service, governance, and equity initiatives.

You will manage the Search Services team, coordinate a national network of consultants, and build strong relationships with college boards, leaders, and stakeholders to identify visionary leaders and advance student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years in executive search or related field.
• At least five years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong budget governance and project-management experience.
• Commitment to equitable and inclusive hiring practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead ACCT's executive search practice nationwide, directing presidential and CEO searches.
• Oversee 30–40 executive searches per year and manage search budgets.
• Develop and monitor service delivery objectives and client relationships.
• Coach and supervise staff and consultants, ensuring high performance.
• Represent ACCT in client engagements and national events.
