The Opportunity
Abbott Molecular Diagnostics is seeking a dynamic National Enterprise Account Manager - Health Systems/GPO. This pivotal role involves spearheading the design, development, and implementation of the US National Enterprise Strategy for targeted National Health Systems and Group Purchasing Organizations for our Molecular Diagnostics portfolio of products. The successful candidate will excel in managing cross-functional teams without direct authority, including Sales, Marketing, Training, Sales/Marketing Operations, and Finance/Contracting & Pricing.
This is a field based role and candidates should live near Major Airport
What You’ll Work On
Develop and implement the US support infrastructure to grow and enhance the Enterprise strategy.
Drive profitable growth by collaborating with the USO to create and execute the Enterprise Financial and Strategic Business Plans.
Lead cross-divisional efforts to improve AMD and Abbott’s success in Enterprise Account Management.
Achieve or exceed the US Enterprise annual financial plans and ROI objectives.
Provide leadership and coordination of US Enterprise resources to develop and implement business plans, policies, practices, and vendor relationships.
Develop and leverage internal and external relationships to optimize issue resolution, talent acquisition, leadership development, and drive global standardization and compliance.
Oversee the US Enterprise Strategy, including:
Strategic Planning: Customer insights, external competitive trends.
Marketing: Go-to-Market Strategy (Account Selection, Segmentation, Portfolio), Channel Conflict, Communications, Customer Satisfaction, E-commerce, Global Account Manager Toolbox, Global and National/Regional Account Programs, Strategic Account Manager Toolbox, Program VP/Director Toolbox.
Technology: CRM, SFA, Communication Tools, Value Creation/Innovation.
Strategic Account Improvement: Business Case for Strategic Account Management.
Business Performance/Financial Management: Plan-forecast.
Sales: Account Planning, Critical Success Factors for Strategic Accounts.
Finance/Contracting & Pricing: Contracts & Agreements, Financial Analysis.
Sales/Marketing Operations: Metrics – Business design/development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years’ experience in manager-level sales, finance and strategic account leadership experiences in Lab or Diagnostics
Cross-functional team leadership experience
Ability to travel 70-75% Nationally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large Health Systems, IDN and GPO (Group Purchasing Organizations).
Ability to examine business environment and develop/execute in response to market opportunities.
Able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent organizational skills.
Strong computer skills.
Working knowledge of the diagnostics market including trends and issues related to strategic account management.
Broad knowledge of general laboratory practices.
