Job summary

The Case School of Engineering is looking for a Director of National Development to lead strategic gift solicitation efforts. This role involves cultivating relationships with alumni and corporations to secure major gifts ranging from $100,000 to $250,000.

Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's. A dynamic and collaborative work ethic, along with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.

Some evening or weekend work and extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7 or more years of professional experience required, preferably in higher education.
• Experience in development, alumni relations, public relations, or marketing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for cultivating major gifts.
• Serve as a development staff contact for faculty and senior staff.
• Assist in implementing departmental fundraising plans.
• Identify and train alumni volunteers for gift solicitation.
