Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) seeks a Strategic Outreach Lead to expand NCRC-U’s national presence by engaging government, universities, industry partners, and the cybersecurity workforce.

You will develop strategic partnerships and attract top talent, communicating programs to executive, academic, technical, and student audiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in outreach, marketing, and stakeholder engagement; a working understanding of cybersecurity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, Cybersecurity, IT, STEM, Education, Workforce Development).
• 5+ years of professional experience in strategic outreach, marketing, communications, program management, workforce development, university relations, Government engagement, cybersecurity, or related areas.
• Proven marketing and communications experience with professional marketing/outreach materials.
• Strong experience developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations and executive-level briefings.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, AI-enabled content-generation tools, or similar platforms.
• Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical content for technical and non-technical audiences; build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple outreach initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Represent NCRC-U at government, university, industry, conferences, recruiting, and workforce-engagement events.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, career centers, government, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Support outreach and recruiting to identify cybersecurity students and early-career professionals.
• Develop and deliver professional presentations, executive briefings, program overviews, and marketing materials.
• Use marketing tools including AI-enabled content tools to create presentations, graphics, messaging, and outreach content.
• Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear content for diverse audiences.
• Promote internships, fellowships, competitions, and workforce-development initiatives.
• Engage with NCRC Enterprise to understand workforce needs and incorporate feedback into programs.
• Coordinate with subject-matter experts, universities, industry reps, speakers and mentors.
• Maintain consistent NCRC-U messaging, branding, and external communications.
